Project Types:

Development the urban planning for KHARGA&FARAFRA oasis in Egypt

The proposed project emphasis the Urban and architectural characteristics for Farafra and Baharya Oases by means of processing fieldwork study for selected settlements. The study aims at identifying the effect of prevailing urban by distinguished environmental, social, and economic phenomenon, which interacts with the urban pattern of such areas and to construct the stored urban, architectural heritage and the contemporary pattern in both of Farafra and Baharya oasis’s. The study is expected to satisfy a basic objective of specifying the planning, urban and architectural attribute as a product of social, cultural, environmental and other distinguished factors for the area and its stored heritage within thousands of years as an approach to determine the recommended urban and architectural aspects taking into consideration the merits of both vernacular architecture and new construction methods. 

Other Activities:

Preparing the conceptual urban planning for the KHARGA&FARAFRA in participation with the center of Technological Development Research and Studies. My responsibilities includes:

- Represented the work in each stage of the project.

- Managing and monitoring the working teamwork.
