Recommended:  UML Distilled, Second Edition by Fowler and Scott, 2000, ISBN: 020165783X

Objective:

            Student will learn:           

1-     Object-oriented principles.

2-     UML.

3-     System analysis and design through the major SDLC stages.

Rules:

-       When sending email messages, start the Subject line with "IS525"

-       Other office hours are available with scheduling in advance by email

-       Homework is late if it is not submitted by the end of the due date class

-       Late homework will be graded by on the base of 60% of the original grade

-       Homework submission is through email (preferred), hand in class or through department's fax at 467-5423

-       Check website regularly for new rules, announcements and class slides.

-       Mid-term and quizzes can not be retaken again.

-       Mid-term can be postponed only for an advanced accepted excuse and it is subject to cover more materials
