introduction/brief CV

Dr. Sajjad has been promoted to Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after joing in May 2009 as an Asisstatnt Professor. He is teaching graduate and MS students. His research work focuses on the development of metal nanoparticles, synthesis of renewable biopolymer composites, synthesis of polymer hydrogel, and electrospun nanofibers for environmental and biomedical applications. The research of Prof. Sajjad is taken well by the research community. His articles appeared on the list of highly cited and downloaded articles in the most prominent journals. The current citations of Prof. Sajjad are 8082 with h index 43 and i Index 101, (Google Scholar). He has published 196 research articles, 169 in Journals, 5 in conferences, 2 patents, 9 edited reference books, and published 13 book chapters in books. The total impact factor of Prof. Sajjad is 714.2 (based on 2022). Additionally, 09 or either ready for submission/submitted or in press. He has been included in the top 2% of scientists for consecutive two 2021 and 2022 due to his citation. Prof. Sajjad has developed a fully operational nanotechnology research Lab in the department acquiring funds from the National Plan for Science and Technology by submitting quality scientific proposals. These proposals resulted in excellent quality papers and patents and the final reports were highly rated by AAAs. Besides, research activities at King Saud University, during Ph.D. Prof. Sajjad also work on proposals for the Korean government and the Asian Office of Aerospace Research and Development through the Air Force Research Laboratory as part of his research and dissertation.

We prepared multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)/gelatin composites by dispersion of MWNT through ultrasonication in an aqueous medium with anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS).
