Dr Ulucak holds his PhD in economics. He researches sustainable development, environmental economics, applied economics, and econometrics. His research interests include big data analysis, climate change impacts, and sustainability issues. He has published in a variety of journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, and several books/chapters in prestigious publishers like Elsevier, and Springer. He has reviewed more than 300 papers published by the Web of Science indexed journals and gained excellent reviewer status in the Web of Science. He was also awarded the certificate "outstanding contribution in reviewing" many times. His publications have been cited more than 5500 so far, and the H index for them is 38. He is listed among the world's most influential researchers, prepared by scholars from Stanford University.
