Bio
Dr. Hatim A. Aboalsamh received the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering and science from the University of Miami, USA, in 1987. He is currently a Professor and the Chairman with the Department of Computer Science,
King Saud University (KSA), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the Vice Rector for Development and Quality, KSA, from 2006 to 2009, and the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences. His research interests include pattern recognition, biometrics, probability modeling, and machine learning. He is a Fellow Member of the British Computer Society, and a Senior Member of the Association of Computing Machinery, USA, and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology. He was the Vice President of the Saudi Computer Society. He was the Editorin-Chief of the KSU-Journal of Computer Sciences. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Saudi Computer Society Journal.
