Professor of physical Rehabilitation at King Saud University, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Saudi Arabia. He received Ph.D. from the School of Medicine at the University of Southampton, UK 1992. He received a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Advanced Rehabilitation Sciences, from Texas Woman’s University in the USA, in 1998. He received the Honorary Degree of Ph.D. in Business Administration, Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technology, 2021. He was the Chairperson of the Rehabilitation Sciences Department for three terms, at King Saudi University. He was the General Secretary assistant for Accreditation and Registration at Saud Commission for Health Specialties, 2005-2011; The president of the Saudi Physical Therapy Association, 2011-2016. He was the General Secretary for the Saudi Research Excellence Centers at the Higher Education Affairs, Minster of Education, 2011-2016. He was the Saudi Arabian cultural attaché, Saudi Arabian Embassy, in South Korea, 2016-2021. He is authored and co-authored over 60 publications in physical Rehabilitation and 7 books.
