I have collected my Masters on 1997 and Ph.D. degree on 2002 in the field of chemistry. I spent a year (2004-2005) at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea and 3 years at the Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, South Africa (2005-2008) as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2008 I was promoted to associate professor at the National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt, where I have a permanent position. I have joined the Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM) at King Saud University in 2008 to establish a corrosion program that solves the corrosion problems in industry, particularly the corrosion in oil, gas, and water transportation pipelines. Since that, so many projects were conducted with Saudi ARAMCO, SABIC, and Saudi Water Desalination. Many projects were also approved by the Saudi National Plan for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NPST). Currently, I am a full professor at the Center since 2013 till present.
