1. Represented the College of Medicine at the Preparatory Year convention for career selection, 2012.

2. Led a team of students in a research project in the fourth year; a cross sectional study of Tuberculosis awareness and stigmatization amongst university students, 2012.

3. Served as the leader of the medical subgroup during clinical rotations, 2011-13.

4. Presenter and organizer of the "class of 429" ceremony of recognition; held in the main

   auditorium of the college of Medicine, King Saud University, 2011.

6. Teaching Experience/Curriculum development: 2009 - 2014

   1. Part of student Private Assistance Program; where I taught students and reviewed subjects in the pertinent blocks during the second year.

   2. Annually orienting younger students regarding current and future courses

   3. Big Brother Program: where I was assigned a group of younger medical students to guide and help facilitate the transition into the medical college

   4. Delivered sessions regarding OSCE exams to younger medical students

   5. Active member of teams in conjunction with curricular courses; we simplify and clarify

      important concepts and points regarding specific subjects (such as physiology) to students of the same class as ours.

Research/Laboratory Experience

1. Immunology Research Chair; College of Medicine, King Khalid University Hospital;
a. 2013-2015: Intermittent laboratory training under supervision of Prof. Saleh AlMuhsen and Dr. Rabih Halawani; Activities including but not limited to, DNA Extraction, Sequencing, PCR and Blotting techniques

2. Stem Cell Unit training under the Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
3. Trained at the Rockefeller University Casanova Laboratory of Human Genetics of Infectious Diseases under Prof. Jean-laurent Casanova and supervised by Dr. Xiaofei Kong. April-May 2015.
