Mohammed Mabrook Alharbi
Bio
Mohammed Alharbi received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2010, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, in 2020.
He was a Project Engineer at the FREEDM Systems Center, North Carolina State University, from January 2016 to December 2019, where he was involved in designing and constructing a modular multilevel converter for control validations. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, King Saud University. His research interests include power converter applications, modular multilevel converter (MMC) controls, multiterminal dc (MTDC) systems, and grid integration of renewable energy systems, grid-connected photovoltaic power conversion systems, design and control of electric vehicles (EV) charging systems.
