Essay Writing

This course is aimed to prepare students for advanced academic and professional writing. It is to help students improve their writing skills to the point where they can successfully write across a range of anticipated writing tasks, from short descriptive/narrative paragraphs to long well-presented/argued essays. In class, we will focus on various points of `academic' writing form and style. Moreover, this course is aimed to build students' academic vocabulary.
