Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD in Chemistry from King Saud University.
His research focuses on the design and application of functional polymeric and poly(ionic liquid) materials for oilfield chemistry, water treatment, and environmental remediation, including the breaking of water-in-crude oil emulsions and pollutant removal from aqueous systems.
Dr. Abdullah has authored more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds six patents in the fields of advanced materials and applied chemistry. His work integrates fundamental polymer chemistry with practical industrial and environmental applications.
