I know professor Musaed for more than two years now. I am a professor at the department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. It is the same department where professor Musaed is working as a professor and Chairman. I consider myself as a lucky person to have known professor Musaed. You have to work with professor Musaed to know how knowledgeable he is, not only in his expertise but, also in other areas related to all aspect of petroleum engineering. Professor Musaed is a man of very high caliper and humbleness. I wish Professor Musaed all the best and success in his career.  Professor Zaher Zaafran, President at ZZ & Associates, Sugar Land, Texas, USA.

It was a real privilege to have worked with Prof. Musaed Al-Awad. As a professor of petroleum engineering and head of the department of petroleum and natural gas engineering at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he brought about an incredible degree of academic reform including world-class curriculum development that led to the internationalization and accreditation of the programme. Furthermore, with his wealth of knowledge and experience, he initiated series of industry-academic relationships aimed at supporting students’ learning and academic performance within the department. This was reflected in the students’ outstanding performance at the SPE international conference. I personally cherish his amiable, friendly and supportive character-traits. He is extremely kind, patient and attentive to every member of staff that comes his way. In taking decisions, I found Prof. Al-Awad very diligent, transparent, honest and reliable. Above, all I admire his style of encouraging healthy working environment through organized ‘social calendar’ and ‘getaway day.’  DR. Lateef Akanji, Petroleum Engineering Program, University of Aberdeen, UK.
