As a pharmacologist in oncology, my research is dedicated to understanding the complex molecular mechanisms driving cancer progression. My core objective is to identify and develop novel anti-cancer treatments. A key focus involves unraveling the critical role of stromal fibroblasts within the tumor microenvironment. My work seeks to characterize these fibroblasts, evaluate them as potential therapeutic targets, and test the efficacy of plant-derived products both for cancer prevention and treatment, specifically by inhibiting the cancer-promoting effects of these fibroblasts.
