Financial Accounting ACCT 514 (for students in the master of science in finance MSF (لطلاب ماجستير العلوم في المالية)

Course Objectives (from the catalog of the Master of Science in Finance):

This  course  introduces  students  to  the  basic  principles  of  financial  accounting and reporting. Topics include reading, interpretation, and analysis of 

financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows,and measurement and reporting of assets, liabilities, and owners’ equities according 

to Saudi accounting standards. 

 

I would like to add:

Since at the current time many nations are adopting or converging their domestic accounting standards with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), you benefit more by learning as much as possible how to measure and report assets, liabilities, and owners’ equities according to IFRS.
