يعمل الأستاذ الدكتور هشام سليمان اليوسف في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية اللغات وعلومها بجامعة الملك سعود. و حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعة أديليد بإستراليا عام 2014، والماجستير من جامعة الملك سعود تخصص علم اللغة التطبيقي، و البكالوريوس من جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود في اللغات والترجمة. وقد قام الدكتور هشام بنشر بعض البحوث في مجلات علمية محكمة وبعضها ضمن قاعدتي بيانات سكوبوس و آي إس آي. وتشمل اهتمامات الدكتور هشام التحليل النصي المتعدد الأشكال، وطرق بحث المعارف العلمية، و علم اللغة الوظيفي، آلخ. وقد قام الدكتور هشام اثناء مرحلة الدكتوراه بتقييم رسائل الماجستير وعمل محكما للبحوث في العديد من المجلات العلمية2013. ولديه خبره في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية أكثر من ثلاثون سنة. يعمل الدكتور هشام حالياَ على كتابة عدد من الأوراق العلمية والمشاريع البحثية

Prof. Hesham Suleiman Alyousef works at the Department of English Language, College of Language Sciences, King Saud University. He holds degrees in Applied Linguistics (PhD, University of Adelaide, Australia, 2014)/ (MA, University of King Saud) and in Languages and Translation (BA, College of Languages and Translation, Imam Mohammad bin Saud University). He published a number of papers in refereed journals and journals listed in ISI. Prof. Hesham's research interests and supervision include discourse analysis, multimodality, academic literacies research, metadiscourse, systemic functional linguistics (SFL), reading comprehension, syllabus design and evaluation, applied linguistics, the use of Web 2.0 technology in higher education, and translation theory. Prof. Hesham worked during his PhD candidature as an MA theses examiner and as an academic editor for the Asian ESP Journal (AESPJ), February 2012 to December 2013. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching English as a second language. He is currently working on a number of papers and research projects. Email: hesham@ksu.edu.sa
