Course description

This course is concerned with developing theoretical and practical skills in the application of basic exercise techniques including those specifically related to upper, lower limbs and trunk.

Objectives
On the completion of this course, the students will be able to:
  1. Mention the basic principles and procedures relating to some of the therapeutic exercise modalities.
  2. Explain The physiological and therapeutic effects of the different therapeutic exercise modalities
  3. Define and enumerate indications, contraindications, dangers and precautions including techniques of applications
  4. Explain advantages and disadvantages of the different modalities.
  5. Select the proper type of exercise depending on patients diagnosis
  6. Design the appropriate way of application for each modality
  7. Apply different types of therapeutic exercises on here colleague
  8. Demonstrate and acquire meaningful communications for instruction to the patient and ensure his/her
    comfort throughout the treatment
