ZOO 543 – Cell and Tissue Biology

This course covers advanced topics in cell and tissue biology, including biological membranes and their functions, the chemical nature of genetic material, the cellular and molecular organization of chromosomes, DNA replication, gene expression and regulation, and the cellular organization of selected tissues and organs. It also examines specialized cells, including macrophages and mast cells, and their biological functions.
