Event Tourism Management (TOUR 309)

This course introduces learners to the different types of tourism events, including conferences and specialized exhibitions, and explores current trends in the field. The course covers the principles of planning and organizing tourism events and occasions, as well as preparing appropriate decorations and event setups. It also focuses on identifying material requirements and catering arrangements for tourism events and on human resource planning by determining the required staff and support personnel based on the type of event and the number of participants.
