PHL-491 Dental Pharmacology-II
This course deals with factors affecting drug actions and reactions particularly those related to the physician and patient behaviors. Emphasis is on classification and mechanisms of drug adverse reactions. Clinical drug-drug and food-drug interactions encountered clinically, particularly in dental practice are covered. This course covers the following topics; sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, anticoagulant, antiplatelet and thrombolytic agents.
