Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Zaki El-Malky is a highly accomplished public health professional and academic with a robust background in epidemiology, biostatistics, healthcare management, and patient safety in King Saud University Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Management from American University in Cairo, Egypt. He holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Cairo University and has obtained numerous qualifications, including the American Board in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Dr. El-Malky has a wealth of practical experience, having worked as a senior registrar and coordinator in various healthcare quality and clinical outcome review units in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His expertise spans several fields, including healthcare management, patient safety, clinical research, and quality improvement in hospital settings. He is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Egyptian Society for Quality (ESQ). Throughout his career, he has published numerous research articles and contributed to systematic reviews of clinical practice guidelines using the AGREE II instrument. His work also includes active participation in WHO review teams, contributing to national healthcare guidelines in Afghanistan.
