Professor - Plant Anatomy and Physiology - Department of Botany and Microbiology - College of Science, king Saud university, Riyadh.

- Research interests
Studying the plant morphology and anatomy (the external and internal structure of plants, micro and macro-anatomical structures), studying the physiological traits and functions of plants, focusing on the response of those traits to biotic and abiotic stresses (biotic and abiotic stresses) and trying to identify the sites of their effects and explain the mechanisms of their occurrence, to try to reduce or Prevent their effects by using organic and inorganic compounds such as various plant extracts, plant growth regulators, mineral elements or using new innovative methods.

teaching courses, conducting experiments, publishing scientific research, and operating some scientific tools and devices to serve my community
- Participation and attendance many conferences and published many scientific research in international peer-reviewed journals with a high impact factor.
- Supervising many research projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

• Currently works as a professor of plant anatomy and physiology in the Department of Botany and Microbiology, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Chaired and participated as a member - and still is - in a number of organizational committees at the department and college levels.

• Visiting Professor for Medicinal Plants and Natural Products Laboratories, College of Natural Sciences at the University of Massachusetts. United States of America 2017.

• Worked - and still works - with a number of research teams inside and outside the Kingdom.

• Managed, participated and implemented - and is still doing - a number of research projects funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research - King Saud University, as well as the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.

• More than 115 scientific papers have been published - and are still being published - in botany field in specialized scientific journals, most of which are classified as ISI.

• Supervised and participated in supervising - and still is- supervises and participates in supervising postgraduate students at the master’s and doctoral levels.

• Discussed many scientific theses for postgraduate students for master’s and doctoral degrees.
