Dr. Taisir Eldos, what I am doing now  . . .

My wayrk, i mean work ...

Driven by the vision, mission and aims set in “My way”, we lead the process of crafting a new curricula for the college, which has the following programs:

  1. Computer Engineering,
  2. Software Engineering,
  3. Computer Science,
  4. Information Systems, and
  5. Information Technology (soon)

We took the ABET accreditation requirements as a starting point, then we looked into what the most prominent schools have to offer in their most recent curricula. A point worth mentioning here is that the computer engineering programs around the world offer options that cover most of the areas save the storage media, which is currently playing a critical role in today’s life; this lead us to coin a new track; “Storage Technology”, winding up with the following concentration areas:

  1. Digital Systems,
  2. Network Systems,
  3. Intelligent Systems, and
  4. Storage Systems

We managed to have the following labs ready now:

  1. Software Labs (200 workstations & variety of Software)
  2. Digital Logic Lab
  3. Electrical Circuits Lab
  4. Electronic Circuits Lab
  5. Control & Electric Drive Lab

In addition to that, the following labs will be ready soon:

  1. Digital Communications Lab
  2. Computer Mainetance Lab
  3. Computer Networks Lab
  4. Digital Systems Interfacing Lab
  5. Embedded Systems Lab

Tender specs for the following labs are about to be announced:

  1. High-Performance Workstations Lab
  2. Digital Design (HDL) Lab
  3. Robotics Lab
  4. Graduation Projects Lab
  5. Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Lab
