I.  Combine the pairs of sentences, using adjective clauses. Make any other necessary changes. (5 points)

II. Underline all the noun clauses and adjective clauses, then write their type (i.e. Noun clause or Adjective clause). Finally, reduce them into noun phrases and adjective phrases. (10 points)
