ChE 307 - Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics I
This course provides the basics of the thermodynamics involved in chemical engineering with emphasis on the first law of thermodynamics, volumetric properties of pure fluids, heat effects, and the second law of thermodynamics thereof, and power, refrigeration and liquefaction cycles. A good understanding of the material in this course is essential for the study and understanding of chemical engineering.
