Perennial shrublet

Life Form

Ascending shrub, 20-80cm high, pale grayish. Leaves rarely entire, about 2.5cm long.  Flowers both axillary and terminal densely clustered at the node. Fruits valves and about 5mm long. The species is polymorphic with leaf shape and size varying both in season and habitat.

Description

Coastal and inland salt marshes. Occasionally in silty soils 

Habitat

Very important browse species especially for camels.
