CYB241- Digital Cryptology Techniques

This course provides students with introduction to classical cryptography techniques; Block ciphers and data encryption standard (DES); main principals of finite field number theory; advance encryption standard (AES); Block cipher modes; pseudo number generator and stream ciphers; public key encryption and RSA; cryptographic hash functions; message authentication code; digital signature; key management and distribution; user authentication protocols.
