CV
Prior to his tenure at KSU, Dr. Ouni served as an Assistant Professor at the Institut Préparatoire aux Études d'Ingénieurs de Monastir (IPEIM), Tunisia, from 1999 to 2009.
Dr. Ouni earned his Ph.D. in Communication Networks in 2002 from the University of Monastir, Tunisia, in collaboration with the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG), France. He later obtained his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDr) in Networking and Wireless Networks from the University of Monastir in 2015.
His research interests encompass wireless sensor networks, mobility management, Quality of Service (QoS), network interoperability, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Dr. Ouni has contributed to numerous research projects, including collaborations with institutions in France and Spain, focusing on areas such as energy-efficient protocols for wireless sensor networks and adaptive medium access control protocols.
In addition to his research, Dr. Ouni is actively involved in academic service, having served on various committees at KSU, including the higher studies committee and the practical training committee.
