CLS 416 Environmental Microbiology (1+1) This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of vial activities that microorganisms perform in nature, and in the broader dimension of organic activities in the total ecosystem. Students would develop an appreciation in the useful and harmful roles of micro-organisms in the food and dairy industries. They will also learn to appreciate the use of microorganisms, microbial quality controls in industrial processes and in the treatment of waste materials.

CLS 414 Immunology (3+1) This course is designed to give a basic understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of immunology, including immune responses, immune regulation and immuno-pathology. By the completion of the course the students will be able to perform and interpret various immunological assays used in clinical immunology laboratory and will be familiar with cell separation technique, in vitro assays for evaluation of CMI and tissue typing.

هذا المقرر يقدم لطلاب الدراسات العليا من المتخصصين في كلية الآداب لذا تقوم فلسفة المقرر على مفهوم التعمق في فهم المنطلقات التأسيسية في التراث اللغوي بغية روزها وفحصها ومناقشتها والتعمق في منطلقاتها ومعرفة أصول التفكير عند القدماء وعرضها على ما استفاده الطلاب من علوم لغوية حديثة.
تطبيقات نحوية
يأتي هذا المقرر بعد أن يكون الطلاب قد درسوا ثلاثة أنحاء ويفترض أنهم أتقنوا الجانب النظري المعرفي الذي يقدم في تلك الأنحاء وألموا بشيء من التطبيقات حسب الوقت المتاح، وينهض هذا المقرر بمهمة المراجعة الشاملة لكل مفردات المقررات السابقة لا على نحو نظري بل على نحو تطبيقي فيكون التركيز على تحليل النصوص إعرابيًا والموازنة بين الجمل والدخول في عمليات تجريبية كإدخال الأدوات المختلفة على الجمل أو نزعها من الجمل وإذكاء المهارات المختلفة بتجربة ضبط النصوص ضبطًا إعرابيًا، والموازنة بين أشكال الظواهر اللغوية المختلفة لسبر المعرفة النظرية عند الطلاب.

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى إعطاء الطالب معلومات عامة عن بعض الأنواع اللافقرية من حيث الخصائص والتركيب والتكاثر مع توضيح الأنواع الضارة للإنسان والحيوان وطرق انتقالها اليه. ودراسة الشكل والتركيب التشريحي الفسيولوجي للاجهزة العضوية المختلفة للفأر كنموذج للحيوانات الفقارية.
