Career Objectives: 
Aspiring to become a world class surgeon scientist specializing in neurosurgery. My aim is to 
study neurosurgery and practice it at the highest of levels and become an influential figure in 
the field locally and internationally.

Honors and Awards: 

 2012: Letter of appreciation from chairman of the neurosurgery unit at King Khaled 

University Hospital for participating in the organization of “Spine Update”. 

 2010: Letter of appreciation from the dean for representing third year medical 

students during the NCAAA’s academic accreditation visit. 

 2010: First place in oral presentations in the “Second KSU Students’ Scientific 

Symposium” 

 2009: Second place in poster presentations in “First KSU Students’ Scientific 

Symposium”. 

Electives and Clinical Experience 
 2013/2014: Completed two elective rotations in neurosurgery during my internship 
year in King Fahd Medical City (KFMC) and King Saud University Medical City 
(KSUMC).
2013: Completed a 1-month elective rotation in neurosurgery at Brigham and 
Women’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital of Boston. 
 2013: Attended the John Van Geest for Brain Repair Spring School, Cambridge, UK. 
2012: Completed a 7-week preparation course for the USMLE step 1 exam. 
2011: Completed a 1-month elective rotation in neurosurgery at King Khaled 
University Hospital. 
2009: Completed an intensive 1-week training course in stem cell biology at the KSU 
College of medicine’s stem cell research unit.
