السيرة الذاتية

Mohammed Shahabuddin

مختصر السيرة الذاتية
After finishing my Ph.D. Programme from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur joined Physics Department, Jamia Millia Islamia University Delhi as Assistant Professor in Jan 1990. I have been promoted to Associate Professor in Jan 2000 and to full Professor in Jan 2008. During the job at Jamia Millia Islamia I spent six months in University of Jena Germany under DAAD programme 1996-97. In 2000 - 2001 work for one year as Common wealth fellow at the physics Department, University of Southampton, U.K.
In September 2004 joined as Associate professor at Department of Physics and Astronomy; King Saud University.
Throughout my research carrier worked in the area of high TC superconductors. We establish superconductivity labs at Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi with the project funding by UGC and DST.
After joining the King Saud university we established the superconductivity material preparation and characterization lab with the three major project funding by NPST and one major project funding by KACST. We have the 14 T PPMs from Quantun Design with all attachments.we have also JC characterization set up upto 15 T from American Magnetics.
Different kind of furnaces and oven. Glove box for preparation of materials in controlled environment. We are thankful to KACST for fundings for all these facilities at King Saud University.
During the last six years of period two Ph.D students has already got the degree in this area and third one is going to submit by the next semester..
