B  Objectives 
 

1.  What is the main purpose for this course?
 
At the end of the course the student will be able to:

  • Identify nutrition counseling.
  • Identify Sugar and other Sweeteners.
  • Recognize community water fluoridation.
  • Recognize the fluoride therapies.
  • Identify the dental sealants.
  • Recognize professional dental hygiene care.
  • Identify the preventive measures for disabled and medically compromised clients.
  • Recognize oral disease etiology and contributing risk factors for oral cancer and dental trauma.

An active learning strategy is used through provide the students the opportunities to apply the taught knowledge in real situation starting from role play to real life practice on the patients.
