أستاذ مساعد في تخصص المناعة بقسم علم الحيوان، كلية العلوم، جامعة الملك سعود. حاصلة على درجة الدكتوراة عام 2023 من كلية Health & Life science، جامعة ليفربول، المملكة المتحدة. نشاطي البحثي يتركز على دراسة الفيروسات التي تصيب الجهاز التنفسي و كيفية تفاعل خلايا مجرى التنفس الطلائية للفيروسات. بالاضافة الى الاستجابة المناعية للفيروس في جسم العائل و كيفية تفاعل الاستجابة المناعية الفطرية للفيروس و دورها في تنشيط الاستجابة المناعية التكيفية للتخلص من الفيروس. كما تمثلت مجالات بحثي في دراسة الاستجابة المناعية من السيتوكينات الالتهابية و التي من خلالها يتم تنشيط عدد واسع من الخلايا المناعية والتي بدورها تساعد على تنشيط الاستجابة المناعية التكيفية كالخلايا المناعية التائية والبائية و انتاج الاجسام المضادة للفيروس.

I am an Assistant Professor in Immunology at the Department of Zoology, College of Science, King Saud University. I got my PhD degree in
2023 from the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

My research focuses on studying respiratory viruses and how respiratory epithelial cells interact with these viruses. Additionally, I investigate the immune response to viral infections in the host, particularly how the innate immune response reacts to viruses and its role in activating the adaptive immune response to eliminate the virus.

My research also explores the role of inflammatory cytokines in activating a wide range of immune cells, which in turn help stimulate the adaptive immune response, including T and B cells, leading to the production of virus-specific antibodies.
