مختصر السيرة الذاتية
حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه في بحوث العمليات من جامعة كيس ويسترن ريزيرف بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وأعمل حاليا أستاذ دكتور في قسم الإحصاء وبحوث العمليات بكلية العلوم بجامعة الملك سعود، حيث شغلت منصب رئيس القسم لمدة ثماني سنوات متتالية. قمت بأعمال إدارية واستشارية للعديد من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة. تنصب اهتماماتي البحثية بشكل أساسي على تطوير واستخدام طرق الأمثلية بشكل عام ، وعلى النمذجة الرياضية بشكل خاص ، لاتخاذ القرارات المثلى لمسائل تطبيقية متنوعة.
