Advanced Metabolism
This course provides an in-depth understanding of metabolic processes in animals, focusing on the biochemical and physiological mechanisms that regulate nutrient utilization, energy balance, and metabolic pathways. Students explore the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins, as well as the hormonal and molecular regulation of metabolic functions in animal tissues. The course also examines the effects of nutrition, physiological status, and environmental factors on metabolic responses and animal performance. Emphasis is placed on interpreting current scientific literature and applying advanced metabolic concepts to research and practical problems in animal and poultry production.
