Mohammed S. Alsultan, PharmD, PhD
Dr. Alsultan is an Associate Professor of clinical pharmacy at King Saud University College of Pharmacy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the chairman of the department of clinical pharmacy between 2008 & 2011. He was also the President and board chairman of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society between 2007 & 2010.
Dr. Alsultan received his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1996 from King Saud University College of Pharmacy in Riyadh and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University School of Pharmacy in Buies Creek, North Carolina in 1999. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy in 2003.
Dr. Alsultan is currently the director of the pharmacoeconomics & outcomes research unit at King Saud University College of Pharmacy. His research interests include pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical policy and regulation, pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research, clinical research and in drug utilization and formulary management. He is a member of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, ASHP, ACCP, and a number of other professional societies.
