-Graduate research on Electromagnetic Scattering from Chiral material bodies and Radar Cross Section of Complex Targets at Syracuse University ( From 1990-1994).

-Graduate research on Phased Arrays and Radar Monopulse Tracking arrangements at King Saud University ( During 1984-1986).

-Undergraduate research on Multi-Mode Conical Horn Antennas for Monopulse Radar.

-Supervisor of the Microwave Lab. in the Department of Electrical Engineering at King Saud University(6/96 –Now).

-Participated in the 3-rd International School on Atmospheric Radars held at the ICTP, Trieste, Italy, from 25 Nov. to 13 Dec. 2002.

-Attended several short courses and participated in several international and  national conferences in the fields of research and technical interests.

-Training period at CIT ALCATEL, Paris, France on Modern Communication Systems, summer 1984.

-Training period at ARAMCO Microwave Long Lines , summer 1983.
