Abdullah Alhomaid received his PhD from the University Of Southern Californian, Los Angeles in Political Science. He had served as Chevening - Prince of Wales Research Fellow at St. Huge College, University of Oxford (2000) and  Visiting Scholar at the University Of Southern Californian (2003). His primary field is political theory (normative and empirical). His research includes: methodologies of studying political ideas, theories of the State, and the impact of globalization on values and institutions. He is currently working on the theoretical implications of the interplay between information and communication technology, culture, and politics. He currently teaches political theory at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.
