On behalf of the division members, I welcome you to the Periodontic Division in the Department of Preventive Dental Sciences. The Division is dedicated to the teaching of undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the faculty members are involved in a wide base of dental research, which included oral biology, epidemiology, and clinical (human and animal) researches. Furthermore, they are involved in the treatment of advanced periodontal and medically compromised patients. Moreover, the division members are involved in interdisciplinary clinical practice, which integrate with orthodontic, prosthodontic, endodontic, restorative and implant dentistry clinics. The division also continues to serve the community through public education via different media aspects and hygiene programs.
