Course objectives
To teach students the principles of geographic information systems analysis and to be able to use this technique.
Course description
The course introduces students to the principles of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the techniques necessary to introduce the data, run, manipulate and manage it. It also teaches them how to perform the different applications on GIS. It focuses on mapping, digitizing, classifying data and relating it to each other. Many exercises will be used to grasp the various applications of GIS.
