Microbiology (Mycology). My interesting point of the Microbiological fields as:-

Identification and Functional aspects of mycorrhizal fungi (arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi). I have published more than 35 papers in the international journals about morphological and physiological aspects of mycorrhizal fungi. These papers deal the application role of mycorrhizal fungi in agricultural and economic plants as: biofertilizers, alleviation of heavy metals and salinity, drought resistance, soil fertility and sand accumulation, cambet desertification phenomena and biological control. In addition, pioneers studies about survey of mycorrhizal fungi in most Egyptian soils in different habitats and also new species of mycorrhizal fungi isolated from Egyptian soils were reported.

Industrial microbiology through application of microorganisms in general and fungi in special for production of industrial enzymes, vitamins, phytoremidation of hydrocarbons and polluted materials, purification of sewage water and bioconversion of agricultural and poultry wastes.
