Performance Comparison of RSA, Blowfish, Rijndal and DES Ciphering Schemes

A. PROJECT ABSTRACT

Here we will study the performance of 4 different ciphering schemes, namely RSA, Blowfish, Rijndal and DES. First we try to make them all have the same security strength then see how fast the encryption/decryption process takes. Next we measure the security given that the produced cipher text is of equal size.  This study will provide a good staring point in studying various encrypting techniques.
