Jerome Thornton of the University of Albany, New York, in the daily Yemeni
newspaper.
-July 1983: a translation of two short stories: E.M.Forester’s “The Road to Colonus,” and Lord Dunsany’s “The Guest,” with a critical appreciation of each in the Journal
of the College of Arts (Sana’a University Publications, July, 1983).
-1986: co-translated Harold Pinter’s The Birthday Party, published in Richard
Andretta, The Theater of Harold Pinter (Cairo: The Anglo-Egyptian Publishing Co.,
1986).
-1986 to-date: Several translations in the fields of cultural studies for the
Egyptian Society of Social and Cultural Research.
- 2003-2005: A research on improving the learning environments of large
classes for English as a foreign language, University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
