The book focuses on developmental skills for mid-level students of English as a second language. It focuses on key structures and provides ample opportunities for practice through extensive and varied exercises. While focusing on grammar, it promotes the development of language skills. Students will study English tenses, modal auxiliaries, nouns and pronouns, gerunds and infinitives, passive sentences, quoted speech and reported speech, adjective clauses, noun clauses, comparisons, prepositions, connecting ideas.
