Dr. H.E. Mohamed is an assistant professor of animal physiology in the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. He also received further research studies as postdoctoral fellow (liver profusion in sheep), university of Pretoria, South Africa. He then joine University of Zimbabwe as a visiting lecture of human physiology and the medical school of university of zimbabwe. Following that Dr. H.E. Mohamed did his second postdoctoral studies in Tschwane university of technology in the area of lipoic acid as an antioxidant in sheep and dairy cattle.
Dr. Mohamed then joined Africa International UNiversity, Medicla School as assistant professor of human physiology, then joined king Khalid university as a lecturer of clinical biochemistry.
Dr H.E. Mohamed has actively been involved in different research and academic activities in seven different universities in Asia (King Saud; King khalid university) and Africa (University of Khartoum; Africa International University; University of Pretoria; Tschwane University of Technology; University of Zimbabwe). He has participated in several research groups in these universities in areas of human and animal physiology. He has a good experience in antioxidant and oxidative stress physiology in different animal species, with special focus on camels.
Dr H.E. Mohamed is an active member of several professional and scientific associations in Saudi Arabia, regional as well as international level. He is a soccer player; a fan of Al-Hilal in Sudan, and Chelsea; and he played as professional in second division in Sudan as well as in Khartoum university team ands college of veterinary science team. |
