  Nursing Management (  2 + 3)

The course offers an introduction to the elements and techniques of nursing management. Emphasis is placed upon administrative processes within a nursing department. The organizational designs, management of resources, control of working environment are examined as they relate to the leadership role of the nurse manager on the patient care division.  Field experiences are designed to offer the students the opportunity to integrate management principles and practices through participation in selected aspects of the management process on a patient care division.
