- Ph.D. in Economic Development (Specialization in Finance and Development) from the University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis (France) with honors in 1992.
- MA in "Rights and Economic Development" from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in 1988 (France).
- Degree in Economics and Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Aleppo, in 1983 (Syria).
Research work:
- Topic of Doctoral Thesis: "Agriculture and Finance Development with Specific Economic Conditions of Morocco and Tunisia."
Topic of Research in Masters: "Role of Agriculture in Economic Development of Syria".
Professional Experience:
1. Full Time Lecturer in Aleppo University, College of Economy and Trade in 1984 to 1986 (Syria). Subsequently I was sent to France for higher qualification,
2. After completion of my higher studies and getting fellowship, I returned to motherland and began working as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economics, University of Aleppo effective from 1992 to date. The following courses had been taught there:
