*Course Description:

The main objective of this course is to provide students with relevant contexts in order to understand and use the terminology most frequently associated with computers .Another objective is to review and activate the basic English structures and vocabulary previously studied and forgotten due to lack of practice opportunites.

*Approach:

This course is student-oriented where students' participation is  maximized . Oral communication practice is emphasized .It is based on pair work and group work.Instructors are recommended to adapt this text:to be selective and supplement in order to suit the specific levels of their students.

*Timing:

The course requires approximately 50 hours instruction.Each six –page unit is supposed to be covered in approximately five teaching hours.
