 -      General Goal of program:

   ·         General understanding and use of Microcomputer.

·         General understanding of biomedical systems.

·         Ability to understand the design of Microcomputer based Biomedical Instrument.

·         Ability to understand and use of Microcomputer for analysis and measurement of biomedical data.

·         Ability to understand applications of Microcomputer in Biomedical Instrumentation.

 

-  Short Description of the course:

Introduction of Microcomputer in Medicine, review of Biomedical Systems, review of Biomedical signals characteristics, analog to digital and digital to analog conversion, biomedical data acquisition systems, Microcomputer interfacing, Biomedical data analysis and measurements and applications of Microcomputer in Biomedical Instrumentation.
