Research Overview

تركيزنا في المقام الأول على الجينات التي لها علاقة بإصلاح العطب في الحامض النووي الدي إن أي ,وفي الجينات التى لها علاقة ببعض الامراض المنتشرة في مجتمعنا وخاصة تلك التي لها علاقة وطيدة بالسرطان . ويشمل عدة سرطانات بما في ذلك (ولكن ليس على سبيل الحصر) سرطان الثدي والقولون.

المجموعة البحثية لدينا تعمل على مسارين

المسار الأول: الجينات التي لها علاقة بالسرطان وخاصة تلك الجينات التي لها آثار كبيرة في علاقتها بالاصابة بالسرطان بين البشر.
المسار الثاني: التغيرات الجينية في مجتمعنا, وفهم ألية الامراض المنتشرة من الناحية الجينية.

Our focus is primarily on genes related to repair damage in any DNA, in which genes related to some diseases prevalent in our society, especially those that have a close relationship with cancer. Includes cancers of several sites, including (but not limited to) those of the breast and colon cancer.

Our research group is working on two tracks:

Track I: genes linked to cancer and cancer-related attributes. And participates in the identification of genes that have large and small effects on the risk of cancer among humans.

Track II: genetic variation in our population, and understand the mechanism of spread of the disease genetically.
