elcome to Dr. Saleh Al-Tayyar home page. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Technology, College of Applied Medical Sciences, at King Saud University, and a foot Biomechanics Consultant at the University Diabetes Center at King Saud University.

He is currently on leave working as the Director General of Medical Devices Sector at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. He is also the chairman of Biomedical and Clinical Engineering Chapter at the Saudi Council of Engineers. He has a ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics) from Mississippi State University, U.S.A.

Among his areas of interest are Foot Biomechanics, Gait Analysis, Foot Plantar Pressure assessment, and Diabetic Foot. He is also interested in medical devices regulation.
